Replaced misc. debug #ifdefs with the single #ifdef block DEBUG_MODE.
This block is turned on/off by the configure options in the autoconf
setup process.

got the Linear programming routines to work within the Cantera
directory. I had forgot to include several files. You can now turn
these on via a Makefile flag
